A brief history of me: I grew up in south Texas, one of the few places that makes Dallas seem close to the arctic circle — at least when I was growing up.

Like a lot of advertising and design people, I spent my early school years mostly drawing in the margins of my spiral notebook in class. I was a fine art major in college, but eventually found my love and focus in graphic design and illustration.

I love design, advertising, type and illustration. I’m a slave to my computer, but I also like drawing and painting, which I do sometimes to get away from my keyboard.

Proficient in Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Muse. I’m experienced in brand identity, corporate identity, package design, logos, annual reports, brochures, print advertising, posters, catalogs and website design. I also compulsively collect tinplate robots, art books and 1950’s bakelite radios.

Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, with concentration in design, advertising & illustration from the University of Texas at Austin.
